In less than two weeks, the FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin in Qatar with a lavish and eye-catching opening ceremony on November 20. The FIFA World Cup opening ceremony at the Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, will feature artists such Bollywood superstar Nora Fatehi, English singer Dua Lipa, and Colombian wonder Shakira.
Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi, who was born in Canada, is notably featured on the FIFA World Cup 2022 Soundtrack, “Light The Sky.” The “Waka Waka” singer, who is also the ex-wife of Gerard Pique, will be joined by a number of A-list celebrities, including Dua Lipa and the well-known K-Pop band BTS. Shakira has previously performed at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, with the 2010 World Cup in South Africa being the most notable. However, Dua Lipa and the members of BTS are anticipated to make their debut.
The Bollywood actor-dancer performed as a vocalist for the occasion as she sang “Light the Sky,” one of the World Cup’s official anthems.
Although she hasn’t officially announced it, Fatehi reposted an Instagram story from a fan page. It implied that she would be performing at the event with the words “Can’t wait for Fifa World Cup 2022 to see Nora Fatehi’s Performance along with other fantastic musicians!!”
Jung Kook, BTS
The well-known BTS performer Jung Kook will provide a performance at the opening ceremony, according to the BTS official Twitter account.
Big Hit Music stated in a tweet that he will attend: “We are happy to announce that Jung Kook will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony and is featured on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack. Remain tuned!”
According to reports, the well-known “Waka waka” singer will perform at yet another Fifa World Cup.
Her previous outstanding performances at the event include “Hips Don’t Lie” in Germany in 2006, “Waka Waka” in South Africa in 2010, and “La La La with Carlinhos Brown” in Brazil in 2014. This will be her fourth time performing there.
The popular pop artist is also anticipated to take the stage at the star-studded event. Fans are curious to see if the singer, who is well-known for her elaborate stage performances and hit songs like “Levitating” and “One Kiss,” will appear.
Black Eyed Peas, J Balvin, and Nigerian musician Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie are possible additional performers.
